The last thirty seconds

After the seven minute bell a chukka ends at the next break in play. That one rule decides how the end of every chukka is played.

The key points

If the ball goes out of play after the bell, the chukka is over immediately.
Leading? Put it out. Chasing? Keep it alive at all costs.
The final chukka is different: it ends on the bell whatever is happening.
