Pass, do not dribble
The single biggest difference between low and high goal polo: good players hit the ball into space ahead of a team-mate instead of carrying it.
The key points
- A pony runs slower than a struck ball. Every dribble lets the defence reset.
- Hit to where your team-mate is going, not where they are.
- Dribbling into a marked man is how possession is lost.
